There are many important steps in the repair process, as detailed below:

1. First, Auto Craft Body & Paint’s expert and professional damage analysts meet with the vehicle owner to gather information about what occurred during the accident or collision and to record pertinent data about the damages incurred.

2. The damage analysts then work with our seasoned auto body technicians to develop an appropriate service plan for the vehicle's restoration.

3. Then, the vehicle owner authorizes further evaluation of the vehicle (which may involve taking the vehicle apart), as well as any future repair work outlined in the service plan.

4. Auto Craft Body & Paint then contacts your insurance company to communicate the service plan.

5. Now the first step of the actual repair process beings. The vehicle is disassembled and the need for structural and mechanical repairs is assessed.

6. Next, the replacement parts are electronically ordered for the vehicle. Sometimes, if a part is unavailable immediately, it may add a few days onto the completion timeline of the repair. Once all the relevant parts are received, the structural repair work begins.

7. During this part of the process, the vehicle's structure is restored to manufacturer’s specifications with unibody repair equipment. Cutting-edge computer programs analyze various aspects of your vehicle to ensure the repairs are accurate and reliable.

8. Now, the more cosmetic aspects of the repair work are completed. Experienced auto body technicians realign, restore or replace metal elements on the vehicle, such as body panels. Corrosion protection is also applied to the repaired areas, as needed per manufacturer specifications.

9. Next, the vehicle is prepared for paint application. Every exterior area of the car is primed and prepped for the next-day painting. The car is then masked, taped and placed in a paint booth, and the colors are mixed and applied.

10. Reassembly of any final car parts is completed at this point, and all systems are checked and re-checked for correct performance, which may take anywhere from one to two days.

11. Now, alignment work is performed, as needed, as well as thorough detailing and road performance testing of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.

12. It's time for the finishing touches. A final inspection and quality check is completed at this point, to ensure the vehicle has been restored to its pre-accident condition.

13. Lastly, the customer is notified that their vehicle is ready for pick-up or delivery at their earliest convenience.
